Legends of the Diamond is a baseball video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that was released in 1992 to an exclusively North American audience.
The game features legends of the baseball world including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.[2 Out of the 30 baseball legends that can be chosen, only six of them were pitchers (Bob Gibson, Cy Young, Dizzy Dean, Lefty Gomez, Whitey Ford and Steve Carlton).[3[4
There is exhibition mode as well as tournament mode, players controls everything from batting to pitching and even fielding. Each player uses his career stats to determine how well he plays on the baseball field.
