Idle Island is a fun casual game belonging to the idle clickers subgenre that provides players the possibility of creating a city from scratch and making it grow with work and effort.

The way Idle Island works is very simple: your starting point is an abandoned space with mountains, trees, highways, and some lots to start building on. In the first place, you've got to invest in the lots so you can buy houses, cars, and stores. Then you've got to tap as often as you can on the lower bar to invite citizens to move into the new city. The people live in the houses you build and work in your factories. Their labor provides enough energy and resources to keep building. To raise buildings you have to tap on them, too, or hold down the construction button, which will oblige you to pay attention to the work being carried out in your city.

While your city grows you've got to take charge of doing studies or making investments that let you get more profit and grow faster.

As you move forward in your project new buildings will be unlocked for you to construct. Plus the ones that you started out building and that may have ended up in a less than ideal space can be moved so you can achieve an optimal urban design for your city.
